The Quintessential Aspect of Human Nature

As the final days of summer approach, we experience a change in seasonal colors, transitioning from light to gold. In fact, autumn is the golden season, representing the end of nature’s life cycle as it reaches its peak and begins to fade away. Days grow shorter, darker, and colder, as winter arrives at its own pace.

In contrast, autumn marks the beginning of a new work or school year for many individuals. Strange, isn’t it? We return to our routines while nature is saying, “Goodbye and see you next spring!” Perhaps this is why the return to our usual work environments can make us feel a little disoriented. Additionally, we constantly dwell in an unnatural atmosphere, largely due to technology.

Wow! This is overwhelming. But the truth is, humans are amazing. We are capable of the most extraordinary feats one can imagine, and one of these is courage.

If you observe the behaviors of gold carefully, you’ll notice that it has a proper density, acts as a good conductor, and does not corrode. Over the centuries, gold has been the quintessential metal for jewelry and trading systems. Similarly, humans possess our own personal type of gold that resides within us, which we call courage.

This quality gives us character density, transforming us into stronger, more confident individuals. Courage acts as a conductor, guiding us toward our goals. Of course, we need to do our part; it doesn’t operate on its own. We must put in the effort, make decisions, and confront the difficulties we encounter along the way. However, since courage never wears out, it consistently provides us with the strength to start anew when we stumble over obstacles or face our deepest fears.

As you can see, courage is our personal gold, and it’s free. Let’s harness it! Don’t waste any more of your precious time delaying decisions or fleeing from your fears or anxieties. As Dominique Sachse always says, “Be bold, be blessed,” and I also encourage you to do your best!
